Welcome to the WVDOT Real Time Network (WVRTN)

Operated by the Geospatial Infrastructure Section in Information Technology Division

The WVRTN service provides real time kinematic correctors to GPS/GLONASS capable receivers to enhance the precision of position data derived from satellite-based global navigation satellite systems (GNSS). This provides observations for post processing from 26 Continuously Operating Reference Stations(CORS) with 15 of these sites on the National Spatial Reference Frame (NSRS). National Geodetic Survey (NGS) collects and distributes observations from those sites here: https://geodesy.noaa.gov/corsdata/

Sensor Map provides the operational and storage status of the individual CORS.

Reference Data Shop will retreive up to 45 days of observations from most system CORS, or produce a virtual RINEX format file from a user-chosen position using the network processor's results. Virtual RINEX production is also limited to the preceeding 45 days.

Online Post Processing service consumes static observation sessions of 15 minutes to 6 hours and produces a point location report.

The WVRTN additionally provides a full year of observations from the long-term repository located here: https://wvrtn.cors.us/data.aspx.
